Frequently Asked Questions

Where should I fly into and how do I get to the venue?

We recommend flying into Dublin Airport. From there, it’s an easy 30-minute Uber or Taxi ride to our venue, Cliff at Lyons in Kildare.

Where should I stay?

Right on-site! In addition to being a beautiful wedding venue, Cliff at Lyons is also a luxury hotel and can accommodate our guests either overnight or for an extended stay. There is also plenty of parking available if you decide to rent a car and drive yourself.

What is the dress code?

Think classy but comfortable. No need for black tie - just come ready to celebrate!

Are children welcome at the ceremony or reception?

Absolutely! Kids are a huge part of our family, so they are more than welcome at both the ceremony and the reception.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We have hired some amazing professionals to capture the moment, so we ask that you please keep your phones and cameras tucked away during the ceremony.

Do I need to pick my meal when I RSVP?

Nope! You won’t need to reserve your meal in advance. You will be able to select your meal at the reception, following the ceremony.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

The venue is great at accommodating different needs and will have delicious vegetarian and gluten free options available.

What will the weather be like?

May in Kildare is lovely, with temperatures around 14-15°C (57-59°F). It’s usually very pleasant, with the occasional light showers, so we recommend bringing a jacket just in case!
